Invention-An invention is an object, process, or technique which displays an element of novelty. An invention may sometimes be based on earlier developments, collaborations or ideas, and the process of invention requires at least the awareness that an existing concept or method can be modified or transformed into an invention. However, some inventions also represent a radical breakthrough in science or technology which extends the boundaries of human knowledge. Legal protection can sometimes be granted to an invention by way of a patent.

Every day or should I say every minute each one of us would have thought of some idea(which could solve an existing problem) , but you parked your idea aside(for that very moment or permanently) due to various reasons A loss of your idea could be a gain for others.Now let me come to the crux of the entire problem.
I was chatting with an enthusiastic and aspiring guy Mahesh Pidhsetti who shared his idea with me but had problems in sharing his idea with others(ie he could not find soulmates).This is not only his problem but a problem faced by many of us.
So,before our ideas die out,I have decided to take some step….These are the suggestions from my side:
- Have a GoogleGroup(YahooGroup is banned ) which would be used for the sole purpose of sharing and reviewing ideas.A record of all the members(and their backgrounds) would be maintained for further reference.
- Plan to meet on every alternate weekends to know each other and also see which person is suitable to be your soulmate.
Let’s work together to give birth to ideas and to build ventures around those ideas
For startups the main problem is skilled, credible and lots of passion resources like Apple Inc. workers and money to meet the expense. In india lots of people obsessed with hefty salary & even though if they join the startup they begin thinking of jumping to big company its not their problem the circumstance is like that. Its better to hire freelancer from elance.com if they did good work , they can be hired what Digg.com founder Kevin rose did.

I would like to extended IDEA-GROUP to Enabler-Group where people can discuss problemd they are facing in there start-ups like hiring experts,infrastructure set-up,technology related,and general views on start-up related issues.
While going through blogosphere I find so many start-up related issues discussed but they are very contextual and very specific to US market.
I would like to discuss those issues in Indian context like
a)how many founder for start-up
b)equity distribution
c)product vs services
d)local vs globe customer
e)how to hire , whome to hire (specialist vs generalist)
f)marketing
At the same time I find little on everyday issues faced by start-ups like how to create initial infrastrucure for your start-up,legal issues,how to look for advisors,hiring consultant etc.
Ideally I wish we have a open ,inexpensive,informal plaform where a budding/aspired entrepreneur can look for guidence, seek opinion on anything and very thing related to his/her venture.
And yes we can start this with your Idea-group.

Two major problems I faced during my failed attempt :(.
1. Even though we made a practice of meeting every weekend, I found it difficult to say to a person who had attended all the meetings regularly that he isn’t suitable for us just because I was also obliged with his pains to come to the meeting point taking his time out on weekends. Something to really think about.
2. I noticed student volunteers unaware about OOPS concept performing better than the experienced guys. I decided to keep them but they managed to get higher paid jobs in other companies and left, Which is again very correct. So volunteers should not be in their final years at least.
3. More than meeting every weekend a task list should be the target. Very much like a homework. If the volunteers do not see the progress they tend to get restless and might drift away without even a sign.
