<div style="text-align: justify;">Every day several blogs receive spam comments,anonymous comments and though you might can block some of the comments,still some of these would still be there on your blog <img class="emoticon" src="http://wolverinex02.googlepages.com/icon_sad.gif" alt="sad" title="sad" height="15" width="15" /> Take a look at this <a href="http://headrush.typepad.com/creating_passionate_users/2007/03/as_i_type_this_.html">link</a> which describes about <span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 0, 153);">death threats to bloggers</span>.With so many problems in the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blogosphere">BlogoSphere</a>,it was high time to bring a code of <span style="font-weight: bold;">&#8220;Conduct for Bloggers&#8221;</span>.</p>
<p><a href="http://radar.oreilly.com/">O&#8217;Reilly</a> came out with the <span style="font-weight: bold;">Code Of Conduct</span> for Bloggers at the <a href="http://conferences.oreillynet.com/etech">ETech Conference</a> , which addresses some of the common problems faced by Bloggers.</p>
<p>Some of the rules that were discussed at the conference are given below:</div>
<ol style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 102); text-align: justify;">
<li><strong>Take responsibility not just for your own words, but for the comments you allow on your blog</strong>.</li>
<li><strong>Label your tolerance level for abusive comments.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Consider eliminating anonymous comments</strong>.</li>
<li><strong>Ignore the trolls</strong>.</li>
<li><strong>Take the conversation offline, and talk directly, or find an intermediary who can do so</strong>.</li>
<li><strong>If you know someone who is behaving badly, tell them so</strong></li>
<li><strong>Don&#8217;t say anything online that you wouldn&#8217;t say in person</strong></li>
</ol>
<div style="text-align: justify;">These are not the final rules but more rules would still be added after further discussions.You can read the complete description of the <span>Code Of Conduct</span> <a href="http://radar.oreilly.com/archives/2007/03/call_for_a_blog_1.html">here</a> and believe me,you would find it very true and interesting as well.<span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 0, 153);">One strange thing is that there is no rule that adresses theft of content from other blogs.</span></p>
<p>Some interesting guidelines for Women Bloggers which has been set by <a href="http://blogher.org/">BlogHer</a> can be found <a href="http://blogher.org/community-guidelines">here</a></p>
<p>I hope that this <span style="font-weight: bold;">Code Of Conduct</span> improves the scene of the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blogosphere">BlogoSphere</a></div>
