All of us know about Larry Page and Sergey Brin but what if , after ten years of incorporation of Google ; a guy comes out and claims to be the third co-founder rolleyes A guy named Hubert Chang claims to be the third co-founder of Google. Thanks to Guy Kawasaki’s tweet for this information. Check out the shocking videos below where Chang explains how the Google journey began…

You can check out this article [which has an interesting tag:”If you liked this post please spread it“] for the shocking information.It would be interesting to keep a watch on Washington Post for updated information where they claim to have mailed Professor Rajeev Motwani of Stanford University for more details.

On the lighter side , this makes me wonder :
Q. What might be Google’s immediate move ???
A. Ban Hubert Chang from Google search lol, just like John Chow [check out here]

  • This was quite shocking.If it is true than it is really bad.

  • Hey,
    @Anonymous:
    Thanks for the comment.Yes,it is shocking because of two reasons:

    1. Even if Hubert Chang was involved with Google, there is no proof since you need documents to prove them πŸ™‚
    2. Why has he come out after 10 years, was he waiting for the valuation of Google to still go up !!!

    It is Bad or Good would be decided only when this is proved, till that time we need to wait πŸ™‚

  • great and shocking news. but why did he come out after 10 years. was he sleeping during the past stages

  • Hey,
    @Anonymous:
    Thanks for the comment.As I have mentioned in my comment, may be he was waiting all the way for Google to become a BIG BIG giant πŸ™‚ But at the end of the day, if there are no documents to prove that he was a co-founder, than this news(and video) will just float in newspapers,TV channels,websites,blogs etc. and nothing more than that …. At the end of the day, Hubert Chang’s purpose won’t be served πŸ™‚

  • lol… Just getting their hands dirty at the initial stages of a project doesn’t make someone a co-founder!!

    Larry and Sergey might have discussed their idea with umpteen number of people. Many people might have contributed to the ideas that made google and received nothing more than a thank you.

  • Hey,
    @Kranthi:
    Thanks for the comment.Agreed that it takes a lot to be a co-founder and no denying about that.Sure,a developer just contributing to a startup for some time cannot be called as a Co-Founder and (s)he still remains a developer and nothing more than that !!!

    Co-Founder in this case, would be one FANCY word to please our own self πŸ™‚

    You are right, many guys might have contributed to Google and because of these efforts Google is where it is today, I am sure Google won’t give such a position to each and every person πŸ™‚

  • @Kranthi,
    I missed one point.What Hubert Chang is saying that “He is the one who came out with the idea of Google” which is very funny as well as shocking πŸ™‚
